Fleming's, which operates a restaurant at The Greene Town Center in Beavercreek, has put together three "Wine, Dine & Sparkle" options ranging in cost from $350 to $1,000 for a special three-course Valentine's Day dinner. Each option includes Champagne and a special gift — from a jeweler —for him or her.

And the offer is not just available on Valentine’s Day. It’s good anytime between Feb. 8 through Feb. 17.

The three-course prix fixe menu includes:

  • An amuse-bouche of seared scallops with creamy goat cheese grits, caviar, prosciutto, roasted red pepper and lime-butter sauce, and an optional wine pairing;
  • Choice of mushroom bisque with truffle cream and thyme or beet salad with red onion, pistachios, tomato, goat cheese and honey-lime vinaigrette;

>> PREVIOUS COVERAGE: Local restaurant's $100 margarita just might be a bargain. Here's why.

  • Entrée duo: Filet mignon plus a choice of North Atlantic lobster tail or colossal shrimp with herb-lemon butter sauce;
  • Dessert of white chocolate bread pudding served with dark chocolate and raspberry-infused whipped cream and topped with warm raspberry Champagne sauce.

The Champagne accompaniment determines the price. “Tier 1” dinner for two includes two glasses of Moët & Chandon Brut Imperial Champagne; “Tier 2” upgrades to a full bottle of Moët & Chandon Brut Imperial Champagne; and “Tier 3” delivers the extravagance of a full bottle of Dom Pérignon Brut Champagne. That luxury Champagne usually retails for around $200.

And don’t forget what the Fleming’s folks in their release call “an exquisite gift from a jeweler.”

Guests can also order from the regular menu.
