Un-Turkey Day: Chain offers 1/2 price cheeseburger

Sonic Drive-In has slashed its cheeseburger prices ahead of Turkeypalooza 2013.

The Oklahoma City, Okla. restaurant chain is offering 1/2 off cheeseburgers to celebrate what it is calling National Un-Turkey Day. This should not be confused with Un-Thanksgiving, also known as

Sonic cheeseburgers are about $3.69 in the Dayton area which makes the sale price about $1.85.

"It may be the week of a turkey, but we've got 1/2 price CHEESEBURGERS all day at SONIC," the chain announced on its Facebook page.

The deal is only for the single-patty quarter pound cheeseburgers. Click here to find a nearby location.

Sonic also offered-half priced cheeseburgers for National Back to School Day.

With more than 3,500 locations, Sonic is the nation’s largest chain of drive-in restaurants.
