Jeff Fowler, director of the film, told fans on Twitter that because of the criticism, the design will be changing, The Guardian reported.

There is no word yet on what changes will be made, Polygon reported.
Ben Schwartz gives Sonic his voice as he teams up with James Marsden's Tom Wachowski and battles Jim Carrey's Dr. Robotnick, Variety reported.
"Sonic the Hedgehog" is scheduled premiere on Nov. 8, Polygon reported.
