According to The Hollywood Reporter, the "American Idol" alum is filming a pilot for a syndicated daytime talk show. THR, citing unnamed sources, reported that the project is set for a fall 2019 debut.

The news comes as singer Harry Connick Jr.’s talk show, “Harry,” is ending its run in August.

Clarkson isn't the only personality rumored to be moving into the daytime talk space. RuPaul shot a pilot for a show, and according to B&C, other shows with major celebrities are in the works as well.

Clarkson has not commented on the reports.
