Former Styx front man Dennis DeYoung has a new album "26 East: Volume 1" coming out April 10th.

The album will have 10 songs including "To The Good Old Days" a duet with Julian Lennon.

Dennis said at one point this would be his final album.

Somewhere along the way that has changed.

"This was supposed to be my final album but there were so many songs written that Serafino Perugino, CEO of Frontiers, suggested dividing it into two albums rather than one, So be it. This is Volume 1, which sounds pretentious to me, but the marketing folks wanted you to know there are going to be two of them, so hey kids, there are two of them; this is Volume 1."

Dennis worked on the album with Jim Peterik who has written or co written a number hits including songs for Survivor and 38 Special.

The name of the album refers to the address where Dennis grew up and the band Styx began.
