Mr. Rogers Family Day 2019 is a free day of activities for kids and families to celebrate the children's television host's life and legacy, according to the Latrobe Art Center.

Fred Rogers, who was born in Latrobe on March 20, 1928, was the beloved television host of the children's program, "Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood," which ran on PBS from 1968 to 2001.
Rogers, who starred during the 895 episodes of the show, died in Pittsburgh on Feb. 27, 2003.
