The Rock sends loving message to superfan in hospice

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson sent a heartfelt message to a superfan in hospice care.

The actor and former wrestler was shooting a scene in a church setting at the time.

Family members of Nancy "Grammy" Benvenuto told Johnson about the woman, hoping that he'd pass along kind thoughts, Access Online reported.

Her family wrote, according to the biography Johnson read,  Benvenuto loved not only films Johnson have appeared in but also loved watching when he was still wrestling.

In the caption of the video posted to Instagram, Johnson says he hopes Benvenuto "can FEEL the MANA & ENERGY that we & the world are sending you," Access reported.

In the five-minute clip, The Unconditional Love Ensemble gospel choir from the Agape Spiritual Center, sang "Amazing Grace" before the extras in the church scene chanted "Grammy," as she is known by her friends, family and community, for Benvenuto.
