Cedar Point’s latest announcement has us pumped for summer thrills.

The Sandusky park unveiled plans for The Valravn, and deemed it “the tallest, fastest and longest dive coaster in the world,” during its Winter Chill Out event Saturday.

The $30 million ride first announced in September.

Guests will climb more than 20 stories before being held over an edge for four seconds and then taken on a 75 mph dive at a 90 degree angle. The trains flip upside-down through three inversions along the ride’s 3,415 feet of steel track.

Cedar Point will open on  May 7.

Cedar Point representatives also announced plans to remove three attractions this summer: the Shoot the Rapids water ride and two rides in Challenge Park, Skyscraper and Challenge Racing. These attractions will close due to feedback from guests and low ridership numbers, according to our news partner Dayton Daily News.
