How to keep celebrating the Fourth of July in Dayton this weekend

The Fourth may be over, but the celebrations are still going strong.

Dayton has three ways to keep the party going this weekend with more fireworks and All-American fun.

Here is how you can extend your holiday celebration.

FRIDAY, JULY 6

🎆🍴🎤Kevin Sonnycalb Memorial Fireworks Festival in Xenia

The Kevin Sonnycalb Memorial Fireworks and Xenia Rotary & Greene Memorial Hospital Fireworks Festival was held on Friday, July 3, 2015, at Shawnee Park. Kevin Sonnycalb was a Xenia native, active Rotarian, and local philanthropist. His family donated the funds for the fireworks to give back to the community that Sonnycalb loved, lived in, and greatly influenced his life.

This family friendly and free event was made possible by the Sonnycalb family, Greene Memorial Hospital, City of Xenia, Xenia Rotary, and by locally owned businesses and families. Fireworks by Rozzi's Famous Fireworks, American Wildlife Bicycle Parade, Food Trucks, Live Entertainment, Mike Hemmelgarn Puppet/Magic Show, Space Invaders Bike Parade, Sentinel Chalk Art Contest, Bouncy House Zone and much more.

Austin Landing is hosting a first Friday event with food trucks, a concert by beloved band The Menus, fireworks and more. The first Friday food truck frenzy features a lineup of some of Dayton’s best loved food trucks including El Meson, Cupzilla, Greek Street and more. There will be an opening ceremony American flag skydive from Team Fastrax, pyrotechnic skydive at night from Team Fastrax, fireworks at 10:30 p.m. Arctic Clam performs at 6 p.m. and The Menus at 8 p.m.

SATURDAY, JULY 7

🎆🍴🍺🎤Red, White & Brew

The Mall at Fairfield Commons will host its 2nd annual Red, White and Brew event on Saturday, July 7th outside of the main mall entrance next to Bravo!. The event will include live entertainment, family-friendly activities, food trucks, a beer garden with sales supporting Fisher-Nightingale House.

Children's activities include a bounce house, face painting, and more in the Kids Zone.

Hey There Morgan will perform at 8 p.m. with fireworks at 10 p.m.
