Yellow Cab's Tara Moore says musicians, 15 acts in all, will play from their homes.
Facebook Live links for each performance will be placed in the event's Facebook page and on the band's individual page.
Proceeds from the event organized by Dayton painter Megan Fiely and musician Kyleen Downes will benefit the bands and Yellow Cab.

“I was kind of speechless when they said they were doing this for us,” Moore said. “I love our musician community the things they came up with are pretty amazing.”

As coronavirus cases have climbed in the state, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine has ordered K-12 schools to shut down for three weeks starting March 16, prohibited mass gatherings of more than 100, and banned visitors at nursing homes and state psychiatric hospitals.
The governor recently ordered the closure of bars, restaurants, gyms, rec centers, movie theaters, salons, spas and some other types of businesses.
Downes said Yellow Cab, an art space that hosts music and art and other events, depends on the people who come in.
“If they can’t do shows, they can’t make any money at this time, she said.

To that point, Downes said many local musicians also work in bars or in restaurants.
The show has another purpose as well.

“It will hopefully be a nice way to stay connected and bring music to folks as they are staying in,” she told this news organization. “There are so many great music supporters that we appreciate and getting to have an interaction with them virtually is the next best thing.”

Moore said she is trying to remain positive and she is excited to be able to hang with musicians and fans even through social media.
