>> WINERY GUIDE: Where to enjoy wine 'at the source' in southwest Ohio
The stakes aren’t quite as high this time around, but the Oakwood Sister City Association will host a “blind” wine tasting in the same fashion as the Judgment of Paris from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 4 at the Oakwood Community Center, 105 Patterson Road. There will be several wines from each region offered for sampling, and the origins and types of the wines will be revealed at the conclusion of the tasting, after attendees have voted for their favorites.

Tickets are $25 for the wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres. Some wines will be offered for sale at the conclusion of the event. All proceeds will benefit the Oakwood Sister City’s student-exchange program, which sets up home stays in France for area teens each summer.
