A  14-year-old girl from the Dayton area takes her place in front of fashion's elite on the upcoming season of Lifestyles' "Project Runway Junior."

Allie Lunt of Springboro will compete as part of the show's second season, which is set to debut at 10 p.m. Dec. 22.

"It has always been my dream to be a fashion designer," the CinDay Academy ninth grader said.

Allie, the daughter of Sarah and Darin Lunts and the eldest of five children, said she enjoyed being on the show.

"It was amazing experience," she said. "It was crazy and stressful, but it was a good stress."

Oakwood High School grad Althea Harper took second place on the original Project Runway series in 2009.

The Junior show features fashion designers ages 13 to 17 compete.

The  winner will receive a full scholarship to the  Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in California; a complete home sewing and crafting studio from Brother; a feature in "Seventeen Magazine" and $25,000 to help launch their line.

Butter LONDON cosmetics will give the winner a year’s worth of products and the opportunity to consult with butter LONDON on a limited edition nail color collection.

The styles from the winner's finale collection will be manufactured by Los Angeles Development House, Lefty Production Company.

The show is hosted by Emmy Award winner Tim Gunn and supermodel Hannah Jeter.

Judges are fashion designers Kelly Osbourne and Christian Siriano and Seventeen Magazine and Cosmopolitan Executive Fashion Editor Aya Kanai.

Olivia Holt, a Disney Channel actress and singer, will join the judges panel on the show's finale.

Allie counts designer Betsey Johnson and Siriano, a former contest on the original Project Runway series, among her fashion heroes.

She wants to have her own line of clothing like Siriano.
"I just really want to continue in fashion of course, and use this opportunity to put myself out there as a designer," she said.
