‘Insidious’ horror show bound for Dayton has been canceled

Dayton Live’s presentation of “Insidious: The Further You Fear,” slated Jan. 30 at the Schuster Center, has been canceled.

Organizers report the entire national tour has been canceled. The official statement acknowledges patrons will receive a full refund.

“‘Insidious: The Further You Fear’ previously scheduled for January 30, 2025, at the Schuster Center has been canceled. If you have tickets to this performance, you will receive a full refund back to your original payment method. If you have any questions, please contact the Dayton Live Ticket Office at 937-228-3630 Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. or by email at tickets@daytonlive.org."

The production touted itself as an immersive stage production giving audiences a new story set within the world of “Insidious,” which first hit movie theaters in 2010 centered on a family coping with evil spirits.
