Clothes That Work, the local non-profit agency that provides interview-appropriate clothing to needy clients, has partnered with Men’s Wearhouse for its seventh annual National Suit Drive.

The month-long initiative accepts donations of gently-used suits and professional attire for both men and women.

“Donations from the generous Dayton community help job seekers create a good first impression,” said Shelby Quinlivan, director of communications. “We’ve had an increase of male clients in recent years so additional professional attire for men is needed.”

Quinlivan said the two organizations have paired up for the past seven years and hundreds of suits have been collected. This year’s goal is 250 suits.

No purchase is necessary.

What they need:

  • Men's and women's suits
  • Neckties
  • Dress shoes
  • Dress socks
  • Belts
  • Button-down shirts in white or light blue
  • Women's accessories including handbags, nylons and jewelry.

Items are being accepted through the end of July at Men’s Warehouse, 2750 N. Fairfield Road, Beavercreek, ‎ and 2860 Miamisburg-Centerville Road, Dayton. Donors will receive 50 percent off their next purchase from Men’s Wearhouse — excluding shoes, clearance and Exceptional Value items. Items can be dropped off year-round at Clothes That Work, 1133 S. Edwin C. Moses Blvd., Suite 392, Dayton. For more information, visit www.clothesthatwork.org
