Country singer and songwriter Brandon Davis will perform at the Fairfield Community Arts Center on Friday.

Known for his heartfelt lyrics and authentic storytelling, Davis has quickly become one of country music’s rising, young talents. His single, “Step by Step,” climbed to No. 1 on the iTunes Country Singles chart and the song reached No. 4 on the Billboard charts.

He has also released a new single called “I Am,” which he wrote alongside Frank Romano and BSAMZ (Brandon Sammons.)

“The song was inspired directly from my wife. She has struggled a lot with the question of ‘Am I good enough?’ ‘Am I worthy?,’ whether that was being worth of love, of friendships, and having that ability to find yourself in your inner strength, and it was a battle she has had her whole life, and one I’ve seen her conquer with grace, and it was incredible to me to watch somebody show such resilience and strength in that. This song came from her showing me what people needed to hear, because it was something she needed to hear. It’s something I want my kids to wake up every morning hearing,” Davis said.

“We put out this brand-new song called ‘I Am’ to give people a chance to hear that empowering message, to hear something that we feel is important for someone to hear every single day,” he said.

Fans can expect an evening of unforgettable music and storytelling as Davis performs his chart-topping hits and fan favorites.

“It’s amazing to get to use songs in country music as a means of telling stories that matter, not just to me, but so many other people. Because if you write a song that helps someone, or touches their heart, I might not ever meet them in my life, but knowing I’ve given them that avenue, and that outlet, and it’s telling someone’s story, whether it’s mine or someone else’s,” he said.

After a nearly fatal car crash in 2019, Davis realized life is short, and he didn’t want to waste any time. With the support of his wife, Destiny, and their family, he picked up his guitar and began releasing song after song.

It wasn’t long before he went viral on social media.

Davis continues to captivate audiences with his original songs and live performances.

“Music has always been a passion, it’s always been a hobby, but I wanted to take my hobby, and find a way to share it, but I never knew how. In 2019, I got in a life-threatening car wreck. I got hit head on by a distracted driver, and in that moment, I had some time to reprioritize life, and find clarity, and understand that there’s only one life that we’re given, and only one way to achieve goals, dreams, and that’s to chase them, and make them a priority,” Davis said.

His story has been featured in Billboard, and People Magazine, among others. After completing a recent tour opening for Tim McGraw, this small-town Tennessee family man is quickly making a name for himself.
