Spaghetti $5 Wednesdays at downtown restaurant

Wednesday would be a good time to stop by Spaghetti Warehouse if you haven't been there in a while.

The downtown Dayton restaurant at 36 W. Fifth St. offers its new baked pepperoni spaghetti, and its original recipe spaghetti with marinara sauce, meat sauce or tomato sauce for $5.

The deal, good for both lunch and dinner, also comes with bread and choice of bottomless salad or soup.

Warehouse Wednesday is nothing new.

The Dayton Spaghetti Warehouse has been offering the deal since at least 1998, a waiter told me.

After all of these years, it is still a good deal.

Spaghetti with meat sauce is regularly $9.99.

The eatery also now sells sun-dried tomato broccoli spaghetti and tomato basil spaghetti for $6 each on Wednesday.

Add on toppers like melted Mozzarella, chicken and meatballs. Italian sausages are also offered at a discount on Wednesday. They range from $1 to $4.
