It’s not every day this happens.

A highlight of last weekend's Dayton Gay Men's Chorus and Dayton Contemporary Dance Company concert was a surprise marriage proposal.

At one point in second half of the concert, singer tenor Tony Heston stepped forward, inviting tenor Michael Reiger to join him.

After getting down on one knee, Heston asked: “Will you marry me?” The answer was “yes” and the audience broke into applause and cheers. In the lobby after the show, the newly-engaged couple was surrounded with hugs, love and flowers.
