🍺1. Canned beer from one of the region’s breweries

The Dayton region is overflowing with highly-acclaimed breweries, and most folks will enjoy a pack of canned beer as a gift.

The Yellow Springs Brewery has a new reason to celebrate the holiday with their 2018 Barrel-Aged Maxxdout. The 22-ounce bottles of bourbon-barrel-aged American Stout will be released Nov. 30 at 1 p.m.

Beers rotate through the year at The Dayton Beer Company. Right now you can find seasonal beers Oregon Alley IPA , an American imperial India pale ale, Broken Trolley, a blonde ale and Java Man Cometh, an American coffee stout.

Almost all area breweries have something special in store for the holiday season. Make sure you check your favorite spot.

Whether you're buying for the pinot, chardonnay or merlot fan on your list, local wineries have you covered. If you like your wine on the sweet side, local wineries have some nice options. The Winery at Versailles’ Rodeo Red is the winery’s top seller and you can get it in a supersized 1.5L bottle. Another wine we love is Old Mason’s Statesman (a sweet blend of red and white wine with a cherry finish). Or consider the award-winning sweet berry wine from Hanover Winery called Dammit, Annie it’s the Holidays! The name alone has us sold.
