At least one person is injured after a crash into a Waffle House sign in Dayton.

Dayton crews responded to reports of an injury crash around 10:55 a.m. at the 1200 block of Wilmington Avenue, where the newest Waffle House’s location sits, according to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.

It is unknown what led up to the crash, however, dispatch confirmed it was into the business’s sign.

One person was transported to Miami Valley Hospital with unknown injuries.

Additional details are not yet available.

An employee at the Waffle House confirmed Saturday that the sign was hit but could not provide further details.
