Springfield accounted for most of the outages with 10,153. Moorefield Twp. had 442 outages and Springfield Twp. had 92.
AES Ohio customers were also experiencing outages this afternoon after rain and storms hit the region overnight.
As of 2:20 p.m., there were 95 total outages with 87 in Montgomery County. Earlier in the day Champaign County more than 1,450 outages.
Rain and storms are expected to taper off this morning, resulting in a hot and sunny afternoon, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington. Temperatures could surpass 90 degrees.
