Area schools to receive grant funding include:
- Central State University: $236,000
- Clark State College: $439,052.69
- Edison State Community College: $130,000
- Miami University: $103,539.50
- Wright State University: $500,000
This is the third round of such funding through the Ohio School Safety Center’s Campus Safety Grant Program, which was created in 2021.
To be eligible for grants, schools conduct a security and vulnerability assessment to identify areas that need safety improvements, the release said.
