Motorcyclist suffers minor injuries in weekend crash in Clark County

A motorcyclist involved in an accident in Clark County on Saturday afternoon was flown by medical helicopter to a Dayton hospital.

A 21-year-old motorcyclist who crashed in Clark County on Saturday and was flown by medical helicopter to a Dayton hospital.

The single-vehicle accident happened shortly after 2:30 p.m. on Enon-Xenia Road between West Hunter Road and the Greene County line.

The motorcyclist, Jakob Isaac Lewis of Beavercreek Twp. was traveling southwest on Enon-Xenia Road when he reportedly failed to negotiate a curve. The black 2021 KTM Racing then went off the left side of the road near West Hunter Drive and hit a traffic sign, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Springfield Post.

Lewis was taken by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital as a precaution, according to OSHP. It later was determined his injuries were not serious.

Lewis was cited Thursday through Clark County Municipal Court for operating a vehicle without reasonable control, according to a traffic crash report.
