I-75 North reopens after semi crash

A crash involving a semi temporarily closed all northbound lanes of Interstate 75 at state Route 4/Keowee Street in Dayton.

The call came in at 11:36 a.m. on reports of a injury crash, according to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center. The interstate has since reopened.

Dayton Police Department responded after a semi reportedly hit a wall, dispatchers said.

According to initial reports, oil spilled from the crash onto the pavement.

The crash remains under investigation and it is not clear the extent of injuries suffered.
