A RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURE OF 70 WAS SET AT DAYTON OH TODAY.
THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD OF 69 SET IN 1922.
The previous record for Feb. 22 was 69 degrees, set in 1922.
Dayton broke records on Feb. 15, when highs reached 71 degrees and broke a record of 69 degrees set in 1954.
Columbus also broke heat records Feb. 15 with highs of 72 degrees breaking a record set in 1954 of 70 degrees.
Before that, Dayton also broke the high temperature record for Feb. 9, with highs reaching 67 degrees, breaking a record of 65 degrees set in 2001.
Cincinnati also broke its old high temperature record on Wednesday, reaching a high of 73 degrees, according to NWS reports. The previous record was 71 degrees, also set in 1922.
