Dayton man faces rape, kidnapping charges

A man accused of a sex offense reported in March is jailed on $250,000 bond.

Markise La John Martin Sr., 31, is charged with rape and two counts of kidnapping through Dayton Municipal Court.

The sex offense reportedly happened March 27, according to court documents.

Martin was arrested Monday morning on a warrant, and was arraigned Monday afternoon.

He is next due Nov. 5 in court for a preliminary hearing.
