Charges of murder and felonious assault were approved by the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office Monday afternoon for Lytus Jordan III, 37, of Huber Heights.
Englewood police responded a report of a person not breathing at Hematite Inc. at 300 Lau Parkway at 12:15 a.m.
Officers found Monroe bleeding from the the abdomen when they arrived. They attempted lifesaving efforts, but Monroe died at the scene, according to police.
Police determined Monroe had been the victim of a homicide, and took one person into custody, later identified as Jordan, who was also an employee at the manufacturing plan
In a release, police said that they put the plant on lockdown, and arrested Jordan after they reviewed security camera footage and interviewed employees.
As of Monday afternoon, Jordan remains in jail, and police said that his case is now awaiting a grand jury.
