Downtown hotel roof fire under control, First Street reopened

First Street has reopened in downtown Dayton after a fire could be seen coming from an air conditioning unit on the roof of a hotel.

The fire could be seen around 12:30 p.m. coming from an air conditioning unit on the roof of the AC Hotel by Marriott, which is under construction. Firefighters could be seen on the roof.

Around 1:13 p.m. the Dayton Fire Department posted on Facebook that the fire was under control.
