A Ford Ranger was traveling south on Harshman Road when it changed lanes and overcorrected, causing it to go left of center, according to Dayton police.
The Ford hit a Nissan Rogue and the Nissan then spun out and hit a GMC Sierra.
The driver of the Ford was pronounced dead at the scene. He was identified as Benjamin Huffman, 31, according to Montgomery County Coroner Dr. Kent Harshbarger.
The driver of the Nissan was taken to the hospital and treated before being released with minor injuries. The driver and passenger in the GMC were treated at the scene.
Speed may be a factor in the crash, police said.
Dayton police’s Traffic Services Unit is investigating the crash.
