Dayton fire truck was responding to call, had lights, sirens on when it was hit

No fire personnel were injured during the crash.

Around 8:20 a.m., crews were called to the intersection of Brown and Wyoming streets on a crash involving a fire truck.

“Once on scene, they discovered that the fire truck was utilizing lights and sirens while traveling southbound on Brown Street responding to a call for service,” Trupp said. “As they approached the intersection at Brown and Wyoming, [the SUV] did not completely stop at the red light, causing a collision with the fire engine truck.”

It is not clear if the crash damaged the fire truck
