Frisch’s set to close another Dayton-area location Friday; see the full list

Another Frisch’s Big Boy location in the Dayton region is slated to close before the weekend.

The restaurant at 6188 Wilmington Pike in Sugarcreek Twp., just over the Centerville border, is set to shut its doors at 2 p.m. Friday, the store’s general manager confirmed today.

Also set to close Friday is the Tipp City Frisch’s at 16 Weller Dr., according to an employee that answered the phone Dec. 12.

The two restaurants will join a growing list of locations that have already shut down. That includes:

  • 3311 Benchwood Road, Butler Twp.
  • 1095 S. Main St., Englewood
  • 3110 Colonel Glenn Highway in Fairborn
  • 8154 Old Troy Pike, Huber Heights
  • 2861 Wilmington Pike, Kettering
  • 1330 Columbus Ave., Lebanon
  • 8181 Springboro Pike, Miami Twp.
  • 3560 S. Dixie Highway, Middletown
  • 1831 N. Bechtle Ave., Springfield
  • 20 Troy Town Dr., Troy
  • 38 W. Main St., Xenia.

Before this most recent run, several other Frisch’s locations closed in the Miami Valley in the past few years, including 1231 N. Fairfield Road in Beavercreek and 4830 S. Dixie Drive in Moraine.

Officials at these three restaurants confirmed Tuesday they are expected to stay open:

  • 1255 Main St., Hamilton
  • 2201 E Main St., Springfield
  • 8545 Cincinnati-Dayton Road, West Chester Twp.

The future is unknown at this time for the following restaurants:

  • 2439 E. Sharon Road, Sharonville
  • 5571 Ohio 741, Mason
  • 11122 Hamilton Ave., Forest Park
  • 5570 Liberty Fairfield Road, Liberty Twp.
