A Harrison Twp. man accused of sexual abuse and using a surveillance system to spy on a nude teen will spend at least 18 years in prison.

Anthony David Prince, 52, was sentenced to a total of 18 to 22 years, according to the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office. He also was designated a Tier III sex offender, which will require him to register his address every 90 days for life, once he is released from prison.

The sentence stems from two cases where Prince reportedly sexually abused two children and an additional sexual assault.

The investigation started in September 2023 after a 15-year-old girl reported to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office that she was receiving sexual text messages from Prince, according to an affidavit filed in Vandalia Municipal Court.

During forensic interviews, the 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old girl discussed multiple incidents starting as early as December 2018.

When one of the girls was around 14, Prince allegedly sexually assaulted her in his bedroom and in a car.

In February 2020, Prince was watching a home surveillance system that showed a 13-year-old girl nude while he was driving, according to court records.

Investigators reportedly found the video on his cellphone, as well as other nude images of the children when they were 9 and 11.

They also recovered text messages of Prince asking the girls to engage in sex acts with others, take explicit photos and then sent them to him, according to an affidavit.

In a separate incident in September 2023, deputies responded to Prince’s home for a sexual assault investigation.

A person told investigators about a sexual assault by Prince in a bedroom the previous day, according to court documents.

Prince admitted to engaging in sexual conduct, an affidavit read.
