Those looking to travel by plane, train, automobile or other modes of transportation later this month will find more people joining them on the journey.

The holiday travel season, defined as Dec. 23 through Jan. 1, will see more than 115 million Americans traveling, up by 2.2% compared to 2022, according to AAA.
