A fire reported at the Centre City building Friday afternoon in downtown Dayton has led to street closures that will affect people attending the last day of Holly Days at the Arcade.

A hazmat team and Dayton Fire Department crews responded to a report of a fire inside the long-vacant 21-story office tower at Fourth and Main streets. Dayton Arcade Partners LLC has plans to convert the Centre City building at 40 S. Main St. into 200 apartments.

The following streets are closed:

Main Street between Third and Fifth streets;

Fourth Street between Ludlow and Jefferson streets.

Ludlow Street is clear, and foot traffic can access the entrance to the event at 35 W. Fourth St.

The entrance to free parking in the Reibold garage at 25 W. Fifth St. is open and accessible.
