Monday night’s “Jeopardy!” featured a question about Dayton’s own Guided By Voices, one of two Dayton connections on the show for the day.

Guided By Voices is a Dayton-born indie rock band that has produced 33 albums, receiving national and international attention. Frontman Robert Pollard, a former teacher, has led the group since its beginning in 1983.

The segment can be seen below.

Contestant Amy Schneider, a former Dayton resident, delivered the correct answer of Guided By Voices.

Schneider is a Chaminade-Julienne graduate who continues to climb ‘Jeopardy’s’ all-time greats list.

The show often has aired Dayton connections. One answer famously tied to Dayton about the Wright brothers led the late Alex Trebek to a short prayer after the host watched all three contestants miss it.
