A Chantilly, Va.-based national security company that acquired a Beavercreek company last year is celebrating a hefty new defense contract.

VTG said it has won a seat on the Department of Defense Information Analysis Center (DoDIAC) multiple-award contract to provide research and development services.

The contract was awarded to VTG’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Delta Resources, by the Air Force’s 774th Enterprise Sourcing Squadron.

The Nebraska-based squadron is part of the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, based at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

“We’re really energized about this new award,” said John Hassoun, VTG president and chief executive. “VTG is a long-standing provider to the Defense S&T (science and technology) and acquisition communities. This vehicle will enable us to dramatically expand our scientific R&D and engineering support to our customers and rapidly accelerate the fielding of emerging technologies to the warfighter.”

Last year, VTG announced its acquisition of Vana Solutions LLC, in Beavercreek. Today, VTG has about 50 employees in the Dayton area.

Sarah Lemn, VTG’s vice president of business development operations and marketing, said the award is a “marquis contract that the Defense Department uses to support many R&D and science and technology customers in the Dayton area, specifically the many Air Force commands resident at Wright-Patterson.”

Work under the contract nationally is expected in occur in various locations through September 2027.
