U.S. Marshals arrested a man in Dayton in connection to the death of a 56-year-old in Orlando, Florida, more than a year ago.

A 25-year-old man was arrested in the 2400 block of Hancock Avenue in Dayton on Monday, said Deputy U.S. Marshal Daniel Tebo of the Southern District of Ohio.

He was taken into custody without issue and was being held at the Montgomery County Jail as of early Tuesday afternoon.

On July 8, 2023, a 911 caller reported a crash at the intersection of Summerlin Avenue and Palmer Street, according to the Orlando Police Department.

“When officers arrived, they found the victim, Terrance Dolan, inside the vehicle with injuries that did not appear consistent with a motor vehicle accident,” read a Facebook post by the police department.

Dolan was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The suspect was booked on a second-degree murder with a weapon charge, according to police. It was not clear if formal charges have been filed as of Tuesday.
