Man dead following rollover crash in Moraine

A deadly rollover crash Friday morning has temporarily closed the northbound lanes of Springboro Pike in Moraine.

The driver was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, but succumbed to injuries at the hospital, according to Moraine police.

The northbound lanes of Springboro Pike are closed between West Dorothy Lane and Cardington Road as investigators continue to process the scene.

Police are asking people to avoid the area if possible.

The crash was reported just after 5 a.m. in the 3000 block of Springboro Pike.

A vehicle hit a large utility pole before rolling over, according to police. Crews had to extricate the male driver from the vehicle.

No other injuries were reported.

The man’s identity will be released once his next of kin has been notified.
