A man is dead after a shooting Tuesday at a residence in Wayne Twp., which the Warren County Sheriff’s Office has called a “targeted shooting.”

The sheriff’s office said the shooting happened around 12:30 p.m. in the 4800 block of North Waynesville Road in Oregonia.

A man was killed, but the sheriff’s office has not identified him and said they are working to identify a suspect.

The sheriff’s office said they do believe this was a “targeted shooting” but they don’t believe there is a significant safety concern for the public.
