A 48-year-old Dayton man is no longer facing any charges following a January shooting.

A Montgomery County grand jury declined to indict Alonzo Robinson, who had been charged with two counts of felonious assault in Dayton Municipal Court. Those charges have now been dismissed.

Dayton police responded to a shooting reported around 10:15 p.m. Jan. 7 in the 100 block of Rockwood Avenue after a gunshot victim showed up at Kettering Health Dayton, formerly Grandview Medical Center. The victim was taken by private vehicle, according to an affidavit.

Robinson reportedly had been involved in an ongoing argument with the gunshot victim, the court document stated.
