Power restored to thousands in Montgomery County

Service has been restored to thousands of AES Ohio customers after more than 4,000 were without power Monday morning.

The company was reporting 4,073 outages in the count just after 7 a.m. As of 8:09 am., there were 10 total outages — nine in Montgomery County and one in Miami County.

The majority of outages were near the Dayton Mall area in Miamisburg, Centerville and West Carrollton.

Anyone without service can report outages at http://aes-ohio.com/outages or by calling 4OUTAGE (877-468-8243).
