Service restored to most after thousands lose power in Montgomery County

Power has been restored to most after more than 4,000 people in Montgomery County lost power late Thursday morning.

As of 11:08, 105 people still did not have power according to AES Ohio’s Outage Map. Montgomery County accounted for 73 of those outages.

Around 10:30 a.m. Thursday, 4,059 customers in Montgomery County didn’t have service, with the majority of the outages in the Brookville and Clayton area.

Approximately 62 people near Brookville remain without power, according to the outage map. Service is expected to be returned by 12:30 p.m.
