Denslow is listed as the principal at Waynesville High School in Warren County. It has fewer than 500 students enrolled, according to its website. Fairmont has more than 2,300.
“Education is not only about teaching, but it is about inspiring,” she said in an email to the Dayton Daily News. “As the new high school principal of Kettering Fairmont, I am honored to have the opportunity to inspire and work alongside our talented students, staff, and devoted community.”
Denslow has been with Wayne Local Schools since 2007 in a variety of capacities, according to her resume. She served as an assistant principal for two years before becoming special education coordinator from 2017-19.
Before being promoted to high school principal in 2021, Denslow was a junior high school principal for two years.
Alexander was principal at Fairmont for eight years and has served as administrator for most of his 19 years in education.
The Kettering board is set to meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Recital Hall at Fairmont.
