Survey teams will be near Middletown in Butler County and in Pike Township in Clark County, as well as near Orient in Pickaway County, according to a statement.
Butler County Emergency Management Agency Matt Haverkos said that the agency was out today making preliminary damage assessments
“We did see around a dozen properties that saw some pretty significant damage,” he said, adding that the county EMA is working with the American Red Cross and local jurisdictions to take care of the residents affected.
Haverkos said that the areas that saw the most damage were Hanover, Wayne and Madison townships, but luckily there were no injuries reported.
The NWS also asked that anyone who has observed weather-related damage report it via weather reporting methods or by calling 937-383-0031.
Results from the surveys are expected Tuesday evening, the NWS said.
