A car crashed into a tree in the 7600 block of Jamaica Road in Miami Twp., according to a caller who contacted Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.
“I’m a homeowner and heard (a car) go flying, and there’s something on fire,” the caller said.
“She’s moaning,” the caller said about the injured woman. “I’m scared to death for this poor woman.”
The caller said the car was a “jumbled mess.”
The caller told a dispatcher later in the call that she found another person in a yard that she suspected to be dead. According to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office, Isaac was pronounced dead at the scene.
Miami Twp. police said Thursday that the crash is under investigation. Public Information Officer Pat McCoy said the car hit two trees and a house during the wreck and broke into four pieces. Speed is being considered a factor in the crash.
Records said that two medics were called to the scene and that first responders put CareFlight on standby, although the medical helicopter was never called to the scene.
