Woman killed in Trotwood house fire identified

A woman who died after a fire in a Trotwood house that did not have gas or electric service late Thursday has been identified.

Savannah Bradenburg, 35, of Dayton, was pronounced dead after the blaze was reported on West Third Street, according to Montgomery County Coroner Kent Harshbarger.

Her cause and manner of death have not been determined at this time.

Fire investigators are working to determine what sparked the blaze reported in 5400 block of West Third Street around 11:42 p.m. Thursday.

Trotwood Fire Deputy Chief Brandon Barnett said crews arrived on scene to find heavy smoke and flames.

No other people were in the house, and no additional injuries were reported.

The house did not have working smoke detectors. The residence also did not have gas or electric, Barnett said.

Fire crews from Trotwood, Dayton and Clayton all responded to the incident.

Trotwood fire investigators are continuing to look into the blaze.
