Power restored after tree falls on power lines in Centerville

Power was restored in Centerville and Bellbrook after a tree fell on power lines in the area, AES Ohio reported.

A total of 2,537 AES Ohio customers reported outages in the area. Power was restored around 1 p.m. in the area. AES Ohio tweeted a picture of the tree that knocked down the power lines.

The National Weather Service in Wilmington reported the fallen tree around 12:15 p.m.

Gusty winds in the Miami Valley likely caused the tree to fall. The NWS reported the Miami Valley may see gusts up to 40 mph today.
