Interstate 675 North and the U.S. 35 West ramp to I-675 North have reopened following a crash early Friday morning that overturned a semi-truck in Beavercreek.

The crash was reported around 3 a.m. on Interstate 675 North. The driver overcorrected after the semi-truck went off the right side of the highway, causing the semi and its trailer to overturn, said Beavercreek police Capt. Scott Molnar.

The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The semi-truck was hauling cat and bird food, which had to be offloaded by hand and transferred to another trailer before the overturned semi-truck could be put back on its wheels, Molnar said.

The crash closed I-675 North as well as the U.S. 35 West ramp to I-675 North. The highway was closed with assistance from the Ohio Department of Transportation for approximately eight hours, Molnar said.
