After having been held in Columbus for over 20 years, Ohayocon, the largest anime convention in the Midwest, celebrated its 25th anniversary at the Dayton Convention Center in downtown Dayton from Friday, Jan. 31 to Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025. “Ohayo” means good morning in Japanese and has the same pronunciation as the state of Ohio.
