Police are investigating after a person was shot early Friday in the 4500 block of Salem Avenue in Trotwood.

The shooting was reported at 1:19 a.m. in the area of the Arena Bar at 4515 Salem Ave., according to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center.

A 911 caller stated that the victim was shot in the stomach. Dispatchers encouraged those on the scene to administer CPR. Dispatchers did not have any information about the condition of the victim, but said he was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
