Police seeks public’s help after 2 shot multiple times in Moraine

Police are investigating a shooting in Moraine where two men suffered multiple gunshot wounds Sunday night.

Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the shooting or who has any information to call the Moraine Police Department at 937-535-1166.

Around 10:45 p.m. Sunday, Moraine police and fire dispatchers received multiple calls about gunfire in the area of Orange Avenue and Pensacola Boulevard.

“You can tell it’s two different guns going off, like they’re shooting at each other,” a caller said. “It is very loud and very close.”

Another reported two people had been shot, according to dispatch records.

Moraine, Kettering and Miami Twp. police responded to the area and found two men in the road near Orange Avenue and Pensacola Boulevard.

Both had multiple gunshot wounds.

They were transported to the hospital for treatment. Additional information on their injuries and conditions is not available.
